« I think that the future of forestry development is a close collaboration between mechanisation and horse traction of a good logger . While I was researching locations, I noticed that where there is a workhorse, machines stay at home. The horse ,which is easy to handle , can pick up trees in places where , if machines had to go , the forest should be razed to allow them to get in , whatever machine is at stake : a timber jack , a tractor or a logging machine .

In my eyes the horse is too often considered as a technical setback while it is the source of a perfect complementarity combining economic, social and environmental functions . Nowadays moreover the horse can be a medium for the development of green tourism .  »
